Hall 6.0, Booth D52: Kopernikus-Projekt and Carbon2Chem®
The Kopernikus projects are one of the largest German research initiatives on the subject of the energy transition. Their goal is to enable a climate-neutral Germany by 2045. At the booth, the Kopernikus projects ENSURE, P2X and SynErgie, which are funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), will be presenting their work on the electricity grid of the future, power-to-X technologies and energy-flexible industrial processes. In addition, the Carbon2Chem® project, which is also funded by the BMBF, will be presenting solutions for converting gases from the steel industry into sustainable chemicals.

Halle 6.0, Stand D2 ISC3: International Sustainable Chemistry Collaborative Centre,
ISC3, the International Collaborative Centre for Sustainable Chemistry actively supports the transition of chemical and chemical-related sectors by fostering implementation of variegated aspects of sustainability over the entire life cycle of products, a behavioural shift and rethinking in stakeholders and consumers of chemical products, and supports the creation of a circular economy within the chemical sector. To this aim, ISC3 pursues a multi-stakeholder approach by facilitating dialogue and pilot projects, as well as creating targeted events, services and trainings between/for representatives from the areas of policy, finance, public and private sector institutions and companies of all sizes, education, academia and society. ISC3 contributes to international chemicals policy, develops professional and academic training opportunities, advises companies, and promotes start-ups and scientific research. Founded in 2017 by the Federal Environment Agency and the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety and Consumer Protection, the centre is implemented by its Head Office at GIZ (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ)), its Innovation Hub at Dechema e.V (The German Association for Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology), and its Research and Education Hub at Leuphana University Lüneburg.

Outdoor area 1 Booth B33: Energiemobil
How can we realize the energy transition collectively? Since mid-August 2022, this question has been the focus of an exhibition that is touring seven locations throughout Germany. It was jointly developed by partners from the fields of research, museums and science communication. It includes an extensive, dialogue-oriented supporting program that addresses regional aspects and picks up on the ideas and opinions of local people. At the same time, the public's opinion on the energy transition is being analyzed and the project will be evaluated. In the run-up to and during the exhibition, the “Power2Change: Energymobile” will travel for around a month through the respective region in which the touring exhibition is visiting. It travels to various cities and locations and is a place for exchanging ideas about the energy transition, for providing information and asking questions, for discussions - and for your voice.
